Privacy Policy for Smart People Column
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how sole developer Aleksei Kolpakov under the brand name Tesselith ("we," "us," or "our") handles information through our Smart People Column application ("Application") on the monday.com platform.
2. Data Handling Principles
The Application operates under data minimization principles. We collect and store only the minimum data necessary for the Application to function.
3. Data We Store
To provide column configuration and member filtering functionality, the Application stores:
- Column configuration - settings for each configured column, including assignment kind limits and allowed member lists (user IDs and team IDs)
- Cached member data - user and team names from your monday.com account, used to populate the member selection interface
- Migration job records - metadata about data migration operations, including source/target column IDs
We do not store board content, item data, personal messages, or any data beyond what is listed above.
4. Required Permissions
The Application requires these monday.com OAuth scopes:
boards:read- read board permissions, columns, and people assignmentsboards:write- write column values when saving people selectionsusers:read- retrieve user information for the people pickerteams:read- retrieve team information for the people pickerworkspaces:read- read workspace permissions infoaccount:read- retrieve account information
Permissions are used during user-initiated actions when the Application is open, and for background data synchronization necessary for the member filtering feature.
5. Data Flow & Security
- Infrastructure: Application is hosted entirely within monday infrastructure (monday CDN and monday code).
- Encryption: All data in transit between the Application, our backend server, and monday.com is encrypted by TLS.
- Authentication: All API requests are authenticated.
6. Third-Party Services
The Application uses PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect minimal anonymized technical information about browser, app performance, errors and app feature interactions solely for the purpose of providing uninterrupted and high-quality service. None of your boards' or account information leaves monday.com ecosystem through analytics.
The following third-party domains are used for communication with Posthog:

7. Data Locations
All data mentioned in the Data We Store section is processed within monday code US infrastructure. Aforementioned anonymous technical information is stored inside the EU.
8. Data Retention
Data is retained as long as the Application is installed on your account. Upon uninstallation data is permanently deleted within 30 days in accordance with monday.com Developer Terms
9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Request access to the data we store about your account
- Request deletion of your stored data
- Ask questions about our data practices
